Horsemanship & Despooking Clinic
A clinic designed for beginners to intermediate riders. Focus will be on ground work each morning, and riding each afternoon. Topics are designed to take your horsemanship and your horse to a higher level.
~Gaining and maintaining mutual respect
~Communicating with your horse through body language & pressure
~Establishing ground manners to improve riding
~Increasing timing and smoothness of rider to improve stops, turns, and leads
~Introducing horses to spooky objects correctly and safely
~Maintaining control of a spooky horse
Photographer on site~~Primitive Camping Available~~Cowboy Church Sunday morning at 9:00
Saturday & Sunday sessions will begin at 10:00 A.M.
Cost for participants is $300, with a maximum of 8. Price includes lunch both days and panel stall in camping area.
Non-participants are welcome to come and observe at no charge.
