Rookie Weekend - Geared towards riders wanting to compete in Ranch Versatility and Stock Horse competitions. Also beneficial for those competing in Cowboy Challenges.

Classes addressed will include Ranch Riding, Ranch Cutting, Ranch Trail, Ranch Reining, Ranch Roping, and Stock Horse

Emphasis on good horsemanship & well rounded, dependable horses. Discussion on the elements of a good ranch/stock horse and proper equipment. How to maximize scores through presentation and precision. Work with the mechanical cow and live cattle. Competitions each day.

Cowboy Church Sunday morning at 9:00

Saturday & Sunday sessions will begin at 10:00 A.M.

This clinic is full for participants. However, non-participants are welcome to come and observe at no charge.
