Jan. 14th Kick-Off of TCH Fox Chase Horse Show Series 2006
An Overwhelming Success

Teams Up with Virginia Horse Journal as Official Newspaper of the 2006 Series

MIDDLEBURG, VA (January 16, 2006) — Mother Nature’s wrath could not deter over 100 entries from competing in the kick-off of the TCH Fox Chase Farm Horse Show Series on January 14th. Despite fierce winds, sleet, freezing rain, heavy snow and mud, the competition was hot inside the indoor arena.

“We were thrilled to see so many people show despite the terrible weather conditions,” says Maureen Hanley, Director of Fox Chase Farm. “From the feedback we’ve received from our entrants and sponsors, the show series is ramping up to be fun and a huge success for everyone, and we’re happy to provide such a much-needed schooling show series in the northern Virginia area.”

The TCH Fox Chase Horse Show Series 2006 is 14 schooling horse shows that will culminate with a $10,000 High-Point Prize List. The large cash giveaway for “schooling” horse shows is the first of its kind in northern VA. In order to qualify, exhibitors and/or their horses must compete in 11 out of 14 Fox Chase Farm schooling shows between January and September, 2006. Prize money will be awarded to overall highest point winners from first to sixth place, plus a special award to the top three coaches/horse trainers.

In addition, The Virginia Horse Journal has teamed up with Fox Chase Farm to be the official newspaper of the TCH Fox Chase Horse Show Series 2006, and will print the entire show results weekly on their Website, www.virginiahorse.com, as well as in the monthly print edition.

The second show is scheduled for Saturday, January 28 starting at 9:00 AM, the judge is Andrea Gilman.
