SO a rider/trainer to work with two, un-started horses. Both are very well behaved - just green as grass. Must be an experienced, gentle rider and trainer - who understands leg and seat aids and has soft hands. Who understands ground work. We ride classical dressage. Looking for someone to ride and handle them 3 times a week.
I have an outdoor arena and live in Madison, VA. You must carry your own insurance.

I will be involved in the training, so you must be able to work well with others and take direction.

We strive to be professional, but also to have fun. i consider this farm a community of like minded people, who are supportive of each other and the horses.

These two horses are two of the BEST young Lusitanos in the USA. The mare had the highest score on APSL inspection in the USA last year. The stallion is by Escorial - and we imported him from Portugal in 2018. They require sensitivity to the breed and to horses and lots of ground work.

Other work might be available, including handling yougstock (halter breaking, foot care, grooming).
I prefer to have the horses worked here - and not be kept elsewhere.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
