10+ years of horse experience; all sorts of temperaments and ages including OTTBs. 2+ years of professional experience in feeding, mucking, blanketing, turnout and care of 16+ horses; can provide references. Competed through training level eventing and schooled a little bit of prelim. Short and skinny enough for medium and large ponies (5'2"). Currently have a 4 year old OTTB in training and a coming 9 year old in rehab from a DDFT injury. Basic equine medical training and experienced with colic and emergencies. Taught beginner through intermediate lessons and assisted in running horse camps. Majoring in Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech. Flexible schedule, looking for pay, not returning to campus until end of January. Negative COVID test before campus departure. Will work holidays.
