New Life Equestrian Center is located in Wirtz, Virginia, conveniently 25min from downtown Roanoke, 1 hour from Lynchburg, and 15 minutes from Rocky Mount. We offer full care board and have openings for both full and pasture board.
Facility offerings:
120' x 220' arena with lights
12X12 stalls with rubber mats
*12X12 stalls with run (limited availability)
Over 10 pastures/paddocks available
Wash stalls with heater, fans, hot & cold water
Tack room with individualized lockers
Developing cross country field
Miles of well manicured trails
We offer full care board for both full and pasture board. Full board consists of a stall in our main barn, feed 2-3 times daily (horses who require it receive lunch), blanketing, turn out, and routine vet and farrier holding. Separate grooming packages are available as well.
Stalls are bedded with top quality poplar or pine sawdust. 2nd or 3rd cutting orchard grass or orchard grass mix is fed year round. Stalls are picked 2-3 times throughout the day. Horses receive a minimum of 12 hours turnout per day (weather depending) and individualized turnout plans are available.
Pasture board consists of turnout with a run-in shed (bedded with pine or poplar sawdust), feeding 2-3 times daily, blanketing, and high quality hay fed seasonally. Run-in sheds are equipped with fans for the summer months.
Trainers on site consist of Grand Prix show jumper, Ragan Roberts (April-December) and USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and CCI2*-L event and dressage rider, Huxley Greer.
