Typically 2 -3 days/week: Farm calls. These days are 6-12 hours long, typically 8-10 hours. These days do NOT have a guaranteed ending time, we work until we are done. Prepare truck, restock missing items, prepare labs for shipping. Drive truck to appointments. Assist with client communication.
Patient restraint. Preparation and cleaning of equipment.
Label and package lab samples.
AND 2-3 days/week: In the office. Check that all the notes and invoices from the previous day are done. Check on patients from the day before.
Follow up on any promised documents or other commitments from the day before. Finish any paperwork from the previous day (Coggin's tests or others).Confirm next day's appointments. Assist with inventory management, reminders for clients of vaccines etc. due. Other duties as needed.
You need a clean driving record, good horse skills, attention to detail, good commication skills, strong basic computer skills and strong steady energy!
