Meet "Rafik," a 14 year old, 15.2-ish hand gelding, with a big barrel that takes up a lot of leg.

He is a barefoot, easy-keeping, easy-going guy with lots of trail experience and a basic education in the ring.

Rafik loads and travels easily, lives in or out, hops over little jumps, and isn't overly forward or spooky. He is wonderful around kids too.

Although he wouldn't suit a total beginner, Rafik is uncomplicated to ride, easy to live with, and lots of fun to have at home! He would excel at endurance or long-distance trail riding, and is sweet and personable too. Rafik has been in the Shenanandoah Sporthorses family for years, so we can vouch for his personality.
