Several full care field board spots available on a small private farm just south of Warrenton. Our focus is on providing a quiet and peaceful place for all classes of riders to enjoy their horses, and for horses to enjoy being horses. The farm is home to a small warmblood breeding program first, but enjoys the laid back group of boarders we keep, as well as a small sales and lesson program. The farm is beautiful, with many acres of lush rolling pastures; each equipped with at least one auto waterer as well as a backup trough, 3 board fence, and natural shelter. In the winter, large orchard/alfalfa round bales are kept in all fields, at all times. We believe in letting horses be horses as much as possible, in friendly herd turnout with everything they could need and want. We find that their happiness is more than apparent! In addition to acres of well maintained pasture, we do have several dry lots and more limited grass options for horses and ponies that are insulin resistant, easy keepers, a founder risk, etc.. Horses are fed Nutrena feeds 1-2x per day on a customized plan and owner provided supplements are welcome! Each horse is carefully looked over multiple times per day, and any clothing (owner provided blankets in the winter, fly sheets and spray in the spring/summer) monitored and swapped out as needed. Farm owners live onsite, and barn manager is less than a mile down the road. We take pride in knowing each horse as an individual and being acutely aware of their needs and happiness.

The 4 stall barn is bright and inviting, with a hot/cold wash rack, several cross ties, heated/cooled feed and tack rooms, a full bathroom, small kitchen, tack lockers, etc. While we do not offer stall board, in situations of need, we are happy to rent one of the 12x16 foaling stalls. We have great ride-out on property, with even more just a quick trailer ride away. While our outdoor arena is somewhat small, it will be getting new footing in the next month and it is a great home base to work out of. A fully wood paneled 8ft tall, 60ft round pen is also onsite. The barn manager can often be found trailering out to foxhunt, trail ride, and condition. (FEF, Whitney, Phelps, Weston, and more!) You can usually persuade her to give you a ride, and boarders routinely coordinate trail rides 2-3 times per week on and off site when weather cooperates. Retired and semi-retired horses are very much welcome, too!

We have a great relationship with all the equine professionals you and your horse could wish for. Our horses are on carefully maintained schedules with our vet/farrier/dentist. Between breeding and routine care, a vet is usually on the farm at least once per month. A trailer is always onsite in case of an emergency.
