Lease fee dependent on how many rides per week up to 4x a week. I am flexible and willing to work with you here. Fee includes two lessons per month, which are mandatory. Sophie has had a lot of training and I want to keep her going well. Showing available at the riders cost. Extra lessons available at $30 per lesson.
"Sophie" is a 14.3h Friesian/Morgan mare. Don't let height fool you, she is a big bodied mare used for eventing and dressage. She has gone through Training level eventing and schooled some prelim, 3'6" jumpers, and second level dressage. At home she has schooled up to 4'. Sophie is extremely honest to fences, but can get quick. For flat, Sophie is shown through 2nd level dressage, working into 3rd level, and has regularly done shows and clinics and is easy to handle off property. Sophie tries her heart out at everything and is worth her weight in gold because of it. She is an irreplaceable partner. She carries herself well, when asked, but Sophie will make you work for it and therefore make you a better rider. Sophie will go beautifully if you ride properly, so she makes a great teacher, she's forgiving and honest! Sophie's movement is gorgeous and she always places very well in dressage and is double clear jumping. No vices, super easy to handle and show. This mare has a beautiful work ethic.
Sophie had a lot of 2020 off due to it just being a crap year, but she will be getting back into shape and ready to show this Spring. So she is currently a bit out of shape but is fine for regular riding and will be getting more stamina training as the weather suits to prepare her for a new show year. Due to age she may need to stick only to showing Novice level but once she's in shape I will be able to determine that better.
