Ukiah is a 2016, 15'3 hand thoroughbred mare; who I purchased with the intent of possibly hanging on to as an UL prospect for myself. However, since the purchase business has been crazy and I have more than a full barn, with more client horses wanting to come. My loss will be someone else's gain....
She is an athletic uphill brave sports car type, with an in your pocket personality. She is very easy to handle. Under saddle she can start out a bit tense and forward, but once she relaxes she is absolutely incredible. For this reason I wouldn't say she would make a great first restart; but for a more experienced rider she is going to go far — I do have a gelding who is the perfect first restart horse, if that is what you are looking for! — There is not a mean bone in this mare's body and has not displayed any buck, rear, spin, spook, etc. Located in Free Union/Charlottesville VA. Priced in the mid fours.
