Barn Manager/Groom for fox hunting barn located in Leesburg, VA



Duties to include:

Feed and turn out

stall mucking (6)

exercise horses

keeping barn neat and tidy as well as making sure feed, hay, bedding and supplies are fully stocked

grooming of horses in preparation of a day's hunting, clipping a braiding experience is appreciated but not required



Hunt experience is not necessary but the ability to ride OTTB's comfortably in and outside of a riding ring is required.

Hauling horse experience is a plus



There will be a trial period to make sure the job candidate is a good fit for our farm. Housing may be provided if necessary. At this time there is no room for additional horses to be brought here so stabling of your own horse is not possible. Groom's membership to local hunts can be included as part of compensation package if desired.
