BARN
We are renting out ONE stall in a two-stall barn; the second stall is occupied by a Quarter Horse with a clean bill of health. The barn has an A safety rating by a certified inspector (Aug 2020). Your horse will have access to two large pastures with sturdy fencing. Each stall has independent access to its own paddock and field. Attached tack room is included. Space for a two-horse trailer is included.
RING AND TRAINING
You will have full access to our regulation size outdoor ring for jumping and dressage, located on 5.1 acres surrounded by quiet woods.
FEE
Negotiable $380 for full care, including our buying your horse's feed; half-care and self-care prices are certainly lower and negotiable. We will be available for veterinary and farrier visits for your horse.
LOCATION
Fairfax Station barn is on a quiet street, 10mi from Franconia-Springfield Metro and 18mi from Key Bridge in DC.
ACCESS
As your horse's owner, you can come and ride at will from dawn to dusk, no reservation needed. You can conduct lessons with students and/or instructors.
PROPERTY OWNER
(Mary L. 33 years old) has 28 years English equestrian experience and competing in Hunter Jumper 15+ years; experience with grooming, feeding, mucking, pasture/barn/ring upkeep/ shots. I own and use two tractors on site.
