Horse boarding facility in Powhatan, VA is seeking an experienced and reliable person for a LIVE-IN position to manage all horse-related duties on the farm.

Duties include but are not limited to AM&PM feeds, turning in and out, blanketing, checking for injuries, cleaning stalls,filling/cleaning water buckets and exercise riding. Experience with teaching beginner to intermediate riders is a plus.

Will also be responsible for keeping up with the facility by cleaning manure out of the pastures, dragging the outdoor ring and keeping grass mowed.



We will teach the right person how to use all necessary equipment. We are a 12 stall facility with 4 turnout pastures. Candidate must be self motivated and have an excellent work ethic! Experience with horses is a must and must have their own transportation. Looking for someone who can have honest communication and be a team player with other staff members and clients.



Housing provided will be a one bedroom apartment connected to the barn, with the option of fully furnished or empty for you to bring your own.
