Virginia tech student currently looking for part time work near Blacksburg (within around a 30 minute drive, willing to go farther for the right position).



I've been an avid equestrian for nearly 13 years, riding and competing in hunter eq, jumpers, dressage, and eventing. I'm currently apprenticing with my trainer at home, and have experience working with young/green/problem horses. Something unique about me is I also have experience working with completely feral horses, and very much enjoy it. At home, I exercise ride, train horses, and teach beginner lessons.



I'd love a position with some exercise riding or training, however I am happy to help with barn chores as well. Because I am a student, I can only commit to a few hours per day, and around 3 or 4 days a week. Since I attend Virginia Tech and go home during breaks, this position would only be during the school months when I live in Blacksburg. I'm happy to discuss my schedule and I am very flexible.
