G von B aka Gotz, is a super talented, yet a bit emotional and sensitive ride. He is a beautiful uphill 16.2 hand Belgian Sporthorse by Figaro B. He requires a rider who knows how to ride sensitive horses and is not a handsy rider. His rider really needs to have a good foundation in the basics of leg to hand aids and riding off their seat and leg. If you know that is how you ride then come try him, if you think that is how you ride, probably shouldn't come try him. He steps over 3'6 schooling at home with room to spare. I don't jump very big anymore so he has it in him, I am just not the one that is going to get him up there. He has shown a handful of times last year with some decent ribbons in the jumpers, but he needs more miles at shows as he has had a few temper tantrums when going back in for a 2nd trip after he won the first one. He thought he was done. So, that being said, his new rider needs to be confident to ride him through. I pretty much got him out of it his last show and he did two decent hunter rounds, though he most definitely not a hunter. He is super light in the bridle, has great lead changes, no vices, is very in your pocket, would live in your pocket if he could. Super easy to catch, is turned out with 9 other boys including yearlings. He is another really great horse I would again keep and probably pay a pro to show him for me since I am not going to jump that big again. We are asking $15k for him. |
