Position available as a Veterinary Assistant at an Equine clinic located in Ashland, Virginia. Must be available to work weekends and overnights. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and a team player in a fast-paced environment. Horse handling experience and general horse knowledge required. Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians in the clinic, administering medications, processing lab work, and monitoring patients. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
