Keswick Equine Clinic in Central Virginia is looking for a motivated and outgoing receptionist to help assist our busy and growing three doctor practice. As a high-volume equine ambulatory practice, we are seeking someone comfortable and eager to engage with active day-to-day office operations and inventory management. The ideal applicant has a strong background in interpersonal communications, veterinary office knowledge, inventory management, and strong organizational skills.

Skills and Qualifications
-Critical thinking and effective decision-making abilities.
-Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
-Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
-Computer literacy.
-Cornerstone software experience a plus, but not required.
-Geographical knowledge of the Charlottesville area a plus, but not required.

Position Details:

Office Responsibilities
-Answer phones and schedule appointments.
-Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinarians.
-Package and shipping of diagnostic samples.
-Prepare and process paperwork: equine passports, digital health certificates/coggins forms, etc.
-Manage social media presence and website.

Inventory Responsibilities
-Manage practice inventory and supplies, within the clinic and on ambulatory vehicles.
-Assist with regular inventory counts and track all supplies, medicines, and equipment. Maintain detailed accurate reports for monthly, quarterly and annual inspection.

Benefits
Includes salary commensurate with experience. Paid vacation and sick leave after 6 months of employment; paid holidays. 100% of health care premiums paid by Keswick Equine Clinic. Eligibility for simple IRA retirement plan after one year.
