Riley is an athletic 11 yo Ottb gelding. After his career on the racetrack Riley spent some time learning basic flatwork and was a pleasure to ride. He then moved on to live out and occasionally go for a trail ride or a hack in the field for a while. This past year Riley was in a program learning how to jump. He schooled around 2 foot course s and has a decent lead change. He has been off property and jumped around at Culpeper.
Riley prefers to have one person as he is a sensitive TB but he can also take a joke. He has his own motor and needs a soft patient hand. Would be perfect for an intermediate rider working with a trainer or a professional to finish their way. Has tons of potential for any ring.
No soundness issues and stands for the farrier, clipping, bathing and loads well.
Riley loves to be doted on and has a puppy dog personality. Priced in the low five figures negotiable to the right home.
