Windy Willow Equestrian is seeking a Working Student to join our team. The Working Student will assist owner and trainers in all aspects of care for busy equestrian facility in Millwood, VA. Duties included: Turn in/out, blanketing, feeding, grooming, clipping, wrapping, some stall maintenance, help with shows/clinics. Candidate will be proficient in lunging and exercising a variety of horses.



In exchange for working the Working Student will receive valuable training in all aspects of barn and equine management, lessons, riding schoolmasters and can earn opportunities to show and clinic. Perfect opportunity for a motivated, self-starter looking for more experience in the saddle on a variety of horses, or someone wanting to learn how to run an equestrian facility or manage a barn. Depending on number of days/hours worked, consideration will be made for the working student's horse to have a stall or for the working student to have a lease on a horse here.



Flexible days and hours. This position is best suited for a person with experience handling equines and prior barn experience, or an individual eager to add to their knowledge base.
