The Commonwealth Dressage and Combined Training Association is pleased to announce
a return engagement with top show jumping clinician, Ernest Dillon, on
May 19 and 20, 2007 (Saturday and Sunday ) at Blue Top Farm in Nokesville, VA. This
follows successful Ernest Dillon clinics held by CDCTA for several years.

Group sessions will be will be 90 minutes, with 4, 5 or 6 riders. A limited number
of 45-minute private and semi-private lessons will be offered. Private lessons
are particularly appropriate for horses that have encountered a training problem.
Ernest is particualrly good at cutting through a variety of evasions, getting to
basic acceptance of the bit. The group lessons are more appropriate for horses and
riders who want to polish their performance at the current level, or prepare to
move up to the next level. Prices range from $100 to $185 for entries received
before April 20, with a surcharge for later entries. There is a liberal refund
policy for early entries.

Private and semiprivate lessons can be at any height. We plan to offer group
sessions from 2' to 3'6" +. If entries warrant, we can offer a 4'+ group. Where possible
(especially at the lower levels), we will attempt to have separate "green horse"
and "green rider" session. If we have at least 4 entries, we can offer a separate
session for riders under 12, or a "pre-jumping" session.

Riders can sign up for one day or two days, but in the case of over-subscription,
preference will be given to riders that sign up for group sessions, and multiple days.

Blue Top Farm in Nokesville features rubber footing, in a covered pavilion, with
lights, so the clinic will not be disrupted by bad weather or sunset. No stabling
is available at Blue Top, but a limited number of "overnight" stalls are available
about a mile away.

Ernest Dillon is a Fellow of the British Horse Society and a highly respected show
jumping specialist. His mission is - To put the magic back into the great sport
of show jumping and to give every rider and every horse a chance to benefit fully
from quality training! He is a classical trainer focusing on the basics- in particular
the quality of the flatwork in the approach to the fence - with a positive attitude.
You will come out of your session knowing what you need to work on, but also with
greater confidence in what you and your horse can accomplish.

Ernest is happy to teach at every level from "happy packers" right through
to top professionals in both show jumping and eventing, and has helped riders in
both these categories achieve success at national and international level. Based
in Britain, he is a sought after clinician, giving frequent clinics in New York,
Texas, and California, as well as various locations in Britain.

His British web site is http://www.ernest-showjumping.co.uk . His book, "Show
Jumping for Fun or Glory: A Training Manual for Successful Show Jumping at All Levels",
is available from his web site, or from www.amazon.com, or www.amazon.co.uk.

Sample comments from earlier clinics include:

"I thought the clinic was brilliant and Ernest Dillon was able to communicate
and give constructive criticism without being rude."

"Yes, it was a great clinic and I look forward to his return. He really
re-enforced some concepts that I know are correct, but don't always have engrained...now
they are, I hope!"

"He is far the best I have ever ridden with including several clinics with G. Morris."
