With the growing popularity of Judged Pleasure Rides, the Battlefield Equestrian Society is hosting its first ever Obstacle and Confidence Building Clinic. What makes our clinic different than any other that you have attended so far….five words…we have “The Best of the Best” serving as your Ground Experts! The Battlefield Equestrian Society is fortunate enough to have secured the following Top winners from the 2006 Crystal Crown Series:

-Jane Palmer, Grand Champion
-Amy Grimm
-Susan Hartman, Reserve Champion
-Laurie Hale
-Pat Allard, Honor Champion
-Bibi Ann Lynott
-Barbara Faulkner -Elaine Reed
-Beth Giorgiani
-Martha Selbert

These accomplished riders and trainers will provide you with individual instruction on completing each and every obstacle and at the same time help to build your confidence and that of your trusted mount. No where else will you find this level of obstacle instruction at one venue. Additionally, if you wish to learn by watching and listening from the ground, we also offer spots for Auditors/In Arena Spectators…either way, this event is one not to miss! Limited number of riders and auditors/spectators will be accepted.

All riders must pre-register. Entries must be received no later than Friday, July 23rd. Registration will begin at 8:30 am. Each session will last for 1.5 hours. The sessions will run from 9-10:30 am,
10:30-12 pm, lunch break from 12-12:30 pm, and the final session will run from 12:30-2 pm. After your session, you are welcome to enjoy a leisurely self guided trail ride that departs directly from the Nokesville Equestrian Park facility. The trail is well groomed and will be marked for your convenience. The ride is approximately 45 minutes at a walk/trot.

Session times will be assigned and you will be notified of said time via e-mail no less than 4 business days prior to the event. Due to the limited number of spots available, please immediately contact Kari Briggs if you must cancel for any reason.

Ø Ample trailer parking is available
Ø All horse poop must be removed from parking area and taken with you
Ø Bring your own water as there is not a water facility onsite
Ø Portable rest room is available
Ø Safety helmets are mandatory for this event. No exceptions will be made.

While lunch is not provided as part of your entry fee, the Battlefield Equestrian Society is hosting an onsite hot/cold concession stand where you can purchase hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, soda, water etc. All proceeds will be used to support the Manassas National Battlefield Park bridle trails.

Due to liability, the Battlefield Equestrian Society does not allow non-registered friends to “ride along” or participate at any obstacle at the event site. For the safety of the horses, riders and volunteers, leave your dog(s) at home.
