* The exciting East Coast Trainer Challenge colt starting competition featuring Phil Rogers, Brock Griffith and Gilbert Gonzales facing off to get a young unstarted horse ready for their first ride! Friday and Saturday morning with finals on Sunday morning. Winner in Raleigh will go on to VA Equine Extravaganza in Richmond in October for the finals. See schedule for details.
* Equus Extraordinaire, evening show spectacular! Thrilling trick rides, fast paced drill team action, magnificent Frisians jumping through fire, thundering hoofs of powerful Percherons, magical musical rides and more! Limited tickets. Order your tickets online to save and avoid lines. Tickets benefit NC Children’s Hospital. Special guest, Children’s Hospital Ambassadors! Help us make a difference.

EMTs and paramedics: If you are an EMT and a horse person and would like to volunteer for our onsite first aid, please contact us! This is a great way to get involved with the Extravaganza behind the scenes. You will receive a pass for all three days as well as a pass for a friend.
