GREAT MEADOW TO HOST NATIONAL POLO FINALS

Great Meadow in The Plains is known as the best venue for arena polo in the United States. That is why they will once again play host to the United States Arena Polo Championship playoffs and finals on Sept. 6 and Sept. 13. Spectators will have two nights to watch teams from around the country play the best arena polo the region has seen all season. The playoffs and finals are open to the public. Admission is $20 per car. In usual Twilight Polo style, gates open at 6pm for tailgating and picnicking and the matches begin at 7pm.



Grass polo fans have something to look forward to as well. On Sunday, Sept. 7, players will take to the grass field for the Theodore Roosevelt “Rough Rider” Military Memorial Cup and the U.S. Polo Hall of Fame Challenge Cup. Gates open at 1:30pm and the first match begins at 2pm. General admission is $20 a car and people can bring blankets, chairs, and picnics. Tailgate spots and hospitality tents are available by reservation.



The polo season can’t end without a party. So Friday, Sept. 12, Great Meadow will host a gala along with the Townsend International Challenge Cup which features a United States team playing against a team from Great Britain. Tickets to the gala are $150 per person or $250 per couple.
