Lone Star Boarding, LLC now operates from an 18 Stall Center Aisle barn on Historic Buckland Farm, in Gainesville, Virginia. Ford is a lifelong horseman. Indeed, horses are in the family's blood. The boarding facility has been located at the family farm, where the Hilldale Riding School still operates. The Riding School was established in 1947 by his Grandmother, Mrs. Sanders, and his mother Angie Rogers. Pony Club, horse shows, Steeplechase training and riding, breaking yearlings and now the boarding business, Ford has a long and varied track record of continuous work with horses and ponies of all ages and breeds and dispositions.

Ford is also no stranger to Buckland Farm, as he broke yearling there for the Evans Family, riding some of the most famous race horses in recent years, among them Pleasant Stage, a Breeders Cup winner.

Lone Star Boarding will offer Field and Full Boarding with many extra options including specialized feeding programs, vet and farrier liaison, exercising, training, lessons, and trail rides. Call to make an appointment. 540-270-2350.
