Middleburg, VA – April 21, 2009 – Fox Chase Farm in Middleburg, VA is proud to announce two Mini-Prix Just Jumper Shows with course designer, Olympian Joe Fargis.
“We are thrilled to have a Joe help us with our Jumper Series,” says Maureen Hanley, Director of Operations at Fox Chase Farm. “Joe is one of the most famous and successful riders to represent the United States. It's really wonderful that shows like ours can benefit from world renowned riders like Joe. We are thrilled that he has agreed to design the courses for our jumper shows!”
The two Mini-Prix shows will offer prize money at each show with a grand total of $5,000 ($2,500 each show). The first show will be held on Sunday, May 31st and the second and final show will be Labor Day Monday, September 7th.
Fox Chase Farm recently purchased a course of new fences for the series; Imported from Germany, they are unlike any fences in the area. The entire outdoor arena at the farm will be used (160x350), offering a large space and much room for the shows.
The shows will start with puddle jumpers in the morning and offer the $2,500 Modified Jumpers division (3’6” – 4 feet) at the end of the day. Payout for the Modified Division will be to 6th place. Division prizes will be offered at both shows as well.
