Please join us for 'An Evening in the Winner's Circle' at Colonial Downs to celebrate the 12th running of the Virginia Derby. Enjoy eight live races with premier viewing of the homestretch and finish line, mix and mingle with winning jockeys, and raise your hand to bid in an exciting special auction — featuring a trip package to the Breeder's Cup!


In our race to save retired Thoroughbreds from abuse, neglect and slaughter, we like to think we make it to the winner's circle more times than not. Our Second Chances Program at James River Work Center has been nationally recognized for its success saving horses and men through rehabilitation and vocational training.
