John Nicholls Elected to National Auctioneers Board

Fredericksburg, VA – Nicholls Auction Marketing Group, Inc., (www.nichollsauction.com) announces that the National Auctioneers Association elected John Nicholls of Nicholls Auction Marketing Group to its Board of Directors at its recent 61st International Auctioneers Conference and Show held in Greensboro, NC.
The NAA is the auction industry’s largest trade association with over 4,000 members.
Nicholls said that he saw his role as one of service, commitment and dedication to professional at its highest level.
“I do not know if one person can make a monumental difference in an entire organization,” stated Nicholls. “However, I do believe passionately that one person who is willing to work together with other team members can accomplish amazing things. A person only seeks this position for one justifiable reason, and that is to serve. Service must be priority number one.”
In his speech before the NAA election, Nicholls said he would diligently promote the auction profession and its association to enhance its image to the general public and the business world.
As president of Nicholls Auction Marketing Group, Inc., Nicholls oversees all day to day operations of the company. Nicholls is a second generation auctioneer who is licensed in 10 states and the District of Columbia and conducts over 250 auctions a year. Nicholls is also one of the auctioneers at the prestigious Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. These multi-million dollar auctions are held four times in year in Scottsdale, AZ, West Palm Beach, FL, Las Vegas, NV, and Newport Beach, CA.
Nicholls serves on numerous national, state, and local boards and is active in many community and church activities.
Nicholls has most recently represented the auction industry nationally as the 2006-07 NAA Men’s International Champion Auctioneer and in 2003 as the World Automobile Auctioneer Champion.
