Fox Chase Farm Year-End Show Competition Awards Cash Awards and Helped the Robert Duvall Children's Fund!
MIDDLEBURG, VIRGINIA (October 21, 2010) Fox Chase Farm, an equestrian events center in Middleburg, VA presented at the year-end Horse/Derby show on October 16th, winners of the 2010 Timothy C. Hanley Memorial Hunter Show Series with cash and year-end awards as well as hosted a Silent Auction to benefit the Robert Duvall Children's Fund.
"Thank you to all who attended the Timothy C. Hanley (TCH) Fox Chase Hunter Show Series 2010! We had an overwhelming turn-out and are grateful to all the exhibitors and their families! The Robert Duvall Children’s Fund silent auction did very well with items from Duvall Movie Memorabilia, to talk show host/comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s autographed clothing, to actress Susan Olsen’s, (best known for playing "Cindy Brady") signed copy of her book, "Love to Love Bradys", and a lesson with Joe Fargis and other donated items."
Judges Tracy Mullen and Skip Reese did a great job with moving the horses through and course designer Peter Foley made for a great day, especially the derby classes!
Prize money was awarded to the overall Top 6 riders in the horse shows and top 6 riders in the pony shows and to the top 5 Trainers overall. Fox Chase Farm also awarded Betsy Gallagher of Elway Farms the Timothy C. Hanley Memorial Trophy for Sportsmanship!
Winners of the Overall High Point Riders for Horse Shows received receive cash awards and custom ribbons:
1st Place: Morgan Cook, $600 and Trophy
2nd Place: Annie Diehl, $400
3rd Place: Karista Giordano, $200
4th Place: Sara Baygents, $100
5th Place: Diana Friedman, $75
6th Place: Karysa Shair, $50
Winners of the Overall High Point Riders for Pony Shows received cash awards and custom ribbons:
1st Place: Lydia Davidson, $600 and Trophy
2nd Place: Charlee Schulte, $400
3rd Place: Rachel Ashe, $200
4th Place: Allison Thompson, $100
5th Place: Victoria Wymer, $75
6th Place: Kacy Baumgart, $50
Top Trainers Receive Cash Awards and Custom Ribbons:
1st Place: Melynda Legg of Century Manor Farm, $1,500
2nd Place: Virginia Wilbrandt of Mea Haven Farm, $1,200
3rd Place: Robin DeVaux of DeVaux Farm, $1,000
4th Place: Terri Young of Clairvaux, $ 950.00
5th Place: Betsy Gallagher of Elway Farm, $ 500.00
Division Champions won custom chair and reserve champion won custom leather halters!
