Fox Chase Farm has added AirFoot™ to the Indoor Arena!
Farm improvements are valuable to anyone who boards or shows at facilities in the area, and it is especially important to Fox Chase Farm, as they believe footing ranks very high on the priority list for the health and well being of horses.
After much discussion on how to better improve the indoor footing, Fox Chase Farm and DJL Equestrian Services decided on adding AirFoot™ to the already great sand base in the indoor. The addition of AirFoot™ has made this a match made in heaven!
Concussion reduction is accomplished in two ways now in the indoor at Fox Chase Farm. The rubber and fiber particles themselves provide a degree of cushion, but the real value comes from bridging the sand and AirFoot™ by creating millions of tiny air pockets in the footing.
As horses travels over these bridges, the air is forced out, and they gently collapse. As you ride you will not actually feel the bridges collapse. You will, however, feel what is commonly referred to as "cush."
AirFoot™ also provides another very important characteristic - after it has been compressed by the horses hoof it rebounds in a upward motion. This creates a unique "springiness." The combination of these two factors (cush and springiness) create a truly exceptional riding surface!
Fox Chase Farm's horse show clients will soon see the difference this addition will make, as well as the residents who board at the facility!
