Hello to our Virginia Equestrian family.
You may have noticed a few anomalies happening with VirginiaEquestrian.com lately, such as giant ads in the classifieds that shouldn't be there, and most recently, a redirect to a website that is not ours (www.VirginiaEquestrianONLINE.com which looks and acts NOTHING like the real www.VirginiaEquestrian.com). This is all the doings of an evil person who is hacking into our site to steal our traffic and users for his own financial gain. We are NOT moving our website to a new URL. We are a real company, Virginia Equestrian LLC and we will always be located at www.VirginiaEquestrian.com.
We've been working behind the scenes over the past few months doing our best to prevent him from getting on the site. The recent hacks and endless battles is leaving us no choice but to rebuild the site to keep him out (other than shutting it down entirely).
So here's where you, our VE family, come in. We've always been a free-to-use site for Virginia Equestrians. Needless to say, this battle has become quite an expensive endeavor for us, and is going to get more expensive (rebuilding the site) before it's all said & done. We still do plan to keep the site free for everyone in Virginia (with the exception of the real estate ads) but we are asking for your help to accomplish this.
If you can donate any money to the rebuilding of Virginia Equestrian we would be eternally grateful. We're basically all volunteers, so the deep pockets (investors) that many websites have, isn't here. Almost all of the income from our banner ads & real estate ads goes right back into keeping Virginia Equestrian running. If you could donate $5, $10, $25, $50, anything you can give would really help.
