VTA director Bruce Smart has published his second book -- "A Community of the Horse: Stakes and Stakes Holders." This new second volume of the planned trilogy covers breeding horses and racing of Thoroughbreds, past and present, in Virginia and the many people and professions that make possible our enjoyment of our horses.

Smart will be conducting book signings on Wednesday, November 16th at 7 p.m. the National Sporting Library in Middleburg (www.nsl.org) and again on Monday, November 21st at the VTA's Trainers Seminar at Charles Town.
