Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue, located at 1725 Edwardsville Rd. in Hardy,
Virginia is dedicated to the well being of horses in our service area. We
pursue this goal through education of the public and horse owners, support
of horse owners in need of temporary assistance, and the rescue and
rehabilitation of horses in need. Maintaining and if necessary, placing
suitable horses in stable homes is our goal.
RVHR is an approved 501 C 3 non-profit organization. We rely on the support
of our membership and the donations of our supporters for our operating
funds.
We would also like to let people know that there are other convenient ways
in which to support the work of the rescue.
Donate a bag of Feed Today!
All you need to do is call one of the following stores which you would like
to purchase your feed from. Ask for the person listed below and tell that
person that you would like to buy a bag of feed and which kind. Have that
person put your bag of feed onto the Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue's Feed
Account. At the end of each month a representative from RVHR will head to
each store to collect your feed donation... It is that easy.

You can also help by sending us the UPC codes from any Blue Seal and Sentinel feed bags.
Holdren's Country Store will credit us .25/bag on our feed purchases.
We also would like to receive POP seals from the bags of Southern States products. These can also be used to defray our feed costs.
