Following on from a number of highly successful "Taste of Trec" clinics held each month at our center in Louisa, Ride Trec is happy to announce that popular demand has lead to us putting on similar clinics in other parts of the State as interest in this new, challenging and fun sport continues to grow at a rapid pace.

We introduced the sport to Virginia back in April with our first ever "Taste of Trec" clinic and have now added Staunton (Cedar Creek Stables) to our venues (23 June) along with more to follow at Lexington (Sunrise Stables) in September, and Culpeper (venue to be confirmed), as well as a "Club" event for the "Rusty Stirrups" group near Richmond next month. We have further pent-up demand for more northern Virginia venues, so if you know of a place that might be interested in holding a Clinic and has the facilities available, please get in touch. The beauty of our system is that we can come to you if as an organization, you can provide a suitable venue and enough interested riders to make the trip viable - check out our website (http://www.ridetrec.us/) for more details on this, and to see the current events calendar which is updated regularly.

Here is the really exciting bit though, not only are we producing more and more clinics and events in the area, but our Membership is growing by the day which helps spread the word about TREC and the opportunities for everyone to get involved - not just as a rider and competitor, but as an event Judge and/or Organizer too. We will be on the look-out for those who are willing to train (we had our first unmounted Judge clinic last month) to get involved in our forthcoming inaugural "TREC Championship Challenge" which will be held in the Fall (date to be announced).

Come and discover TREC for yourself, attend a Clinic, suggest a venue, become a Member, but above all get involved - horse or no horse, TREC has an abundance of opportunities to get involved in the fastest growing equine sport this side of the Atlantic. Please discover more for yourself at http://www.ridetrec.us/ and we look forward to hearing from you soon and/or meeting you at the next event!
