Tri-County Feeds, Etc. (TCFE) moved into a 24,000-square-foot retail and warehouse facility in Marshall in September 2007 to dramatically expand their product offering to better serve their customers. In addition, they wanted to have a media center that could benefit the local and regional community.
“TCFE is dedicated to giving back to our community. Utilizing our media center to provide valuable continuing education programs and events and making it available to local community organizations for their meetings supports TCFE’s philosophy,” said Jeri Noel Jackson, Vice President of TCFE.
The comprehensive media center provides an excellent location for research, education, and training. The desktop computer station enables users to view educational materials. A wall-mounted, eight-foot wide, high-clarity screen facilitates viewing DVDs and laptop presentations.

In addition to offering numerous seminars on equine nutrition and health—TCFE hosted an extensive Earth Day Celebration in 2009. Residents from throughout Northern Virginia and the Piedmont Region received important information on energy-saving products and services, enjoyed a presentation on Planetology, examined “green” apparel, and enjoyed an impressive display of art and science projects by local area students.

The organizations, representing members of all ages, that have benefitted from the TCFE media center for their meetings include:
· Middleburg Humane Foundation
· Marshall Business and Residents Association
· Piedmont Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society
· The Fauquier Livestock Board
· NOVA 4-H Educational & Conference Center
· Casanova-Warrenton Pony Club
· Middleburg Orange County Pony Club
· Riverbend Pony Club
· Warrenton Horse Show
· Upperville Horse Show
· Piedmont Driving Club
In addition to sharing their media center with the community—TCFE received the Goose Creek Association 2012 Golden Egg Award for outstanding conservation efforts and is an active supporter of the Middleburg Humane Foundation and the Equine Rescue League.
TCFE invites the community to join them for their 5th Anniversary Celebration at 7408 John Marshall Highway in Marshall on Sunday, September 9th from 12pm to 5pm. Enjoy the Gold Top County Ramblers band from Sperryville from 2pm to 4pm and drawings and giveaways throughout the afternoon. Light refreshments will be offered, including mini-cupcakes from the Red Truck Bakery in Warrenton.
TCFE will host a trunk show on Saturday, September 22nd from 9am to 5pm and Sunday, September 23rd from 12pm to 5pm. Charles Owen, Dubarry, Der Dau, Alexander James, and Fox Hunting Life will be displaying their products and educating customers. It promises to be a great lifestyle and hunt offering.
“TCFE is very proud to be a part of Fauquier County. We will continue to look for ways we can give back to our great community,” shared Bill Jackson, President of TCFE.
