To start off, what is liberty work and why use it?

All ground work on halter/ lead or with bridle/ reins should form a communication with horse and handler , they should start to understand what you're requesting and learn to look towards you for whats next and for leadership. In you becoming the leader in the relationship you'll see the entire relationship change , you won't have to fuss and fight your horse or even feel like you're forcing your horse to be with you, because he will want to be with you.

Today what will happen if you take your horse out of the field , no fence lines to hold him in , take off all tack that connects you to him and you pick up a lounge line and ask him for specific commands , moving his feet when and where asked ? I'd say most horses would say "bye!" While others may not take you seriously and will just start grazing on the nice grass out of their field. Instead you want to be able to do this , and your horse is aiming to respond accordingly to your requests and has a desire to be with you.
Wouldn't you want such a communication and respect from your horse that in any situation you can know your horse looks to you for leadership and not taking it into his own hands or searching to get back to the barn or to his buddies the entire time you're with him? Well, that's why I love liberty work , liberty work starts in your ground work , how you communicate with a halter or bridle on the ground , so let me teach you how to effectively work with your horse on line to begin the journey of forming a relationship with your horse with no ropes attached , liberty work!

We will start the day in a group and end the day doing one on one off line in a round pen , you'll get to watch others transformation from beginning to end on this day and get one on one time to begin your journey to liberty work.

*this is not a problem solving clinic- however in building the relationship deeper and having clearer communication with your horse, you'll see big changes in your horse and your relationship. For unsafe behavioral issues please attend one of our horsemanship ground work clinics* thanks!
