The Botetourt County Horseman's Association will hold its 18th Annual Horse Show on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at Green Hill Park Equestrian Center in Salem -- combined new for this year with a hunter pace!
HORSE SHOW:9 a.m.
This open horse show is sanctioned by BRHF and FCEC. $8/class. Model, Showmanship, Hunters, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Gaited, Costume, games and more! Judge: Rachel Bandy Witt
Special prizes for all winners and our 11 Division Champions!
JACKPOT PLEASURE CLASS -- $100 added money! $25 to enter. The more who enter, the bigger the jackpot! First three placings win money, plus an exhibitor drawn at random.

BCHA Members Only Class -- Winner gets a trophy and a free year membership renewal!
HUNTER PACE: Noon to 3 p.m.
Ride the trails and cross-country course at Green Hill Park! All jumps optional. Western and gaited horses welcome. Teams of two. Closest to optimal time wins. Three divisions offered. Entry fee: $35.
Negative Coggins required. Concessions available on site.

Green Hill Park Equestrian Center:
I-81 to exit 137, exit right
½ mile onto Rt. 619 (Wildwood Rd)
Right at traffic light onto Rt. 11 South (460W & West Main) and go ¾ mile.
Turn left onto Rt. 639 (Diuguids Lane) at traffic light.
Continue past main entrance to county park, Duigoods turns into Harborwood.
ALL TRAILERS: Entrance 1 mile on right.
ALL OTHER TRAFFIC: Entrance 1 ¼ miles on right.
