10AM to 12Noon Rational Approaches to Parasite Control
Craig Reinemeyer, DVM, PhD President, East Tennessee Clinical Research.
Dr. Craig Reinemeyer is a veterinarian and a PhD in veterinary parasitology. His talk will change the way you think about parasite control. Current popular deworming practices are no longer effective because parasites have adapted to them. Drug resistance is a looming threat to the deworming drugs we now have. Dr. Reinemeyer will show you how to deworm your herd of horses in a way that is effective and rational.

Dr. Pagan will discuss feeding management practices that will reduce the incidence of DOD. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn from this internationally know nutritionist.

Kathleen Crandell, PhD Nutritionist, Kentucky Equine Research
