Join us for a day of scenic trail riding at Beaverdam Park, Gloucester, County! Cost (if pre-registered) is $25 adult, $15 junior or member. Add $10 if entry postmarked after April 10. Registration on day of ride allowed; lunch not guaranteed. Ride out between 9:30 -11am. The trail consists of well-marked wooded trails with some hills, mud, bridges, and boardwalks. Horses do not need to be shod; breast collars and cruppers are not needed. Entrants should practice bridge crossings, horse standing still while rider performs various tasks, and dragging things from horseback. Ten obstacles mimic real trail tasks and emergencies. Hot lunch served at the chuckwagon at halfway point. Gourmet chili and other cowpoke fare!
