Bill and Charlotte Sandy along with RVHR will host a Derby Day Fundraising Event on May 7th 2005 from 3 pm to 8 pm at Edge Hill Farm, 6247 Roanoke Rd. Shawsville, VA 24162 (Montgomery County). Proceeds from this event will go to the Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue, Hardy VA to help the abused, neglected and slaughter bound horses being cared for at the rescue facility. This year's event will include large screen TV's to watch the Kentucky Derby, silent auctions, raffles, music, food, drinks and so much more.
