Linda Oliver’s experience as an award-winning Grand Prix Dressage competitor and trainer includes the following accomplishments:
• Twice a top contender (short listed) for the U.S. Olympic Dressage team; also short listed for World Cup team and 1999 Pan American Games team
• Winner of 5 National Dressage Championships (1st place winner, USDF Horse of the Year Award) at First, Third, Prix St. Georges, Intermediare I and Grand Prix levels
• Fourth person in the U.S. to receive all three USDF rider medals- bronze, silver & gold
• Winner of Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special, Dressage at Devon
• Has trained & ridden under George Wahl, Switzerland; Harry Boldt, Germany; Gunnar Anderson, Denmark; Colonel Bengt Lundquist, Sweden (USET Dressage Coach); Nuno Oliviero, Portugal
• Demonstrated piaffe & passage movements (pictorial) for USET Coach Colonel Bengt Lundquist’s book Practical Dressage Manual, first edition
• Dressage judge for many years
• Author of many articles for equestrian publications such as Equus and Dressage Today (including “Ask the Experts” column)
• Starred in Cannes Film Festival award-winning documentary “Riding for America” on her Grand Prix horse, Pinchbeck Lord Peter
• Buyer consultant and sales agent for dressage horses of all levels, and an importer of select dressage horses
In addition, Linda has an extensive background in judging event horses and training event riders in dressage.
