Demonstrations
Ann Pawlak: (9:00 to 11:00 a.m.) “Grooming for the Show Ring”
Learn tips, tricks, and techniques to turn out your horse with a professional touch.

(11:00 to 11:30 break)

Lecture
Gary Baker: (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) “VHSA Associate rules, Show Etiquette, Tack & Attire”
Find out what is fact and what is fiction regarding VHSA Rules. Learning proper etiquette will enhance your show experience. Learn how proper tack and attire can affect the outcome of your classes.

Tracy Mullen: (2:30 to 4:30 p.m.) “Making Positive Impressions with Judges”
Lecture & Demonstrations
What do the judges look for and what can you do for your two minutes in the show ring to make a positive impression? What mistakes can cost you a place or even a class?

Sunday, March 12th:
Mounted Clinic
Rick Eckhardt: (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. w/1 hour lunch*) “Riding clinic for the show ring”
Individual help in a show ring environment. Groups will be divided according to age, pony/horse, and/or skill level to be determined after registration is closed. All participants can audit when not riding.

Saturday, March 18th:
Schooling Show
Oliver Brown: (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. w/1 hour lunch*) “Mock Show with Ribbons & Reasons”
We will hold a complete schooling show. All classes will be judged and ribbons awarded; however, no VHSA points will be earned. Reasons will be given by the judge after each class. Questions may be asked.
