The open trail ride will be held at Parrish Farm, Thornburg, VA. The course will be 10 miles over flat and gently rolling terrain and will have 10 obstacles for which the participants may be judged. Trailer parking is ample at the farm. Trails are well marked. Pre-entries are encouraged. High point division and club awards along with high point appaloosa award. Club teams must include at least 5 members of said club. The top 5 club scores will be tabulated. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am with the first riders out at 9:00 am. Junior riders (13 and under) must be accompanied by an adult. Riders 18 and under must wear a helmet. Helmets are strongly recommended for all riders. In case of rain, the ride will be held the following Saturday, May 3, 2008. Pre-entries will be notified if the ride is cancelled.
