Cowboy/Cowgirl challenge event

Open to all riders, any discipline
Please come and try our cowboy/cowgirl obstacle course. We have a class for all ages and levels of riding, including a novice class for 1st time riders/horses. This is a fun event for horses and riders.
Cash Prizes in the open, Jr. and Mule classes. Prizes in the novice class.
CLASS ORDER:
1a) Jr class for riders over 12.
1b) Jr. class for riders 12 and under. There must be at least 5 riders in each
class or they will be combined.
2) Mule class. Open to all mules
3) Novice class. Open to anyone who has never competed in an obstacle event
(including trail classes) as of Jan 1st 2008. This will be a shortened course
with approx. 6 obstacles.
4) Open Class. Open to everyone.
ENTRY FEES:
Jr. Class $15.00
Mule Class $20.00
Novice Class $10.00
Open Class $25.00
ALL HORSES AND MULES MUST HAVE A CURRENT NEG. COGGINS TEST WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHES IN ORDER TO COMPETE, NO EXCEPTIONS!! NO COGGINS, NO SHOW!
All competitors MUST sign a waver, Children under the age of 18 Must have a
parent or guardian sign.
Please leave your Dogs at home!
No rude or disorderly conduct, or you will be asked to leave!
This is a timed event. Riders have 30 seconds to engage each obstacle or you will be asked to pass to the next obstacle.
Obstacles will be scored on 0-10 scale.
Riders with the best time and score will be the winners, with score (horsemanship) being the deciding factor.
Food will be available on grounds. In case of inclement weather, please call.

DIRECTIONS
From Culpeper: Take 522 south, go approx. 10 miles to Rt. 617 (Everona Rd) Turn Right on 617 (Do not turn at Winston This is 617 in Culpeper Co. Make sure you cross the Rapidan river into Orange Co.) Go 1 mile to stop sign, turn Right onto 627 (Clarks Mountain Rd.) Go 2 miles to the Hawfield Grange on the right.
From Fredericksburg: Rt. 3 west to left on 20 south. Go 10 to 12 miles, turn Right on 621 (pine stake rd) Go approx. 5 miles to stop sign. Cross 522 onto 617 (Everona Rd.) Go 1 mile to stop sign. Turn Right onto 627 (Clarks Mountain Rd.) Go 2 miles to the Hawfield Grange on Right.
From Orange: Go East on Main St. Cross RR tracks, Go through the light past 7-11, continue on until the road takes you out of town (Rd. becomes Rapidan Rd.) Go approx. 5 miles. Turn Right onto 627 (Clarks Mountain Rd.) Go 3 miles to the Hawfield Grange on the Left.
From Mineral: Take 522 North to Unionville. Cross Rt. 20 Go 3 to 4 miles to the first State Rd. on left 701. Turn left on 701, go down the hill to the stop sign. Turn Right onto 617 (Everona Rd) Go 3/4 mile, stay straight on 627 (617 turns to the right) Go 2 miles to the Hawfield Grange on the right.
From Madison and Charlottesville. Go to Orange and follow the directions from Orange.
