Meadow Matches is one of the largest polo events on the East Coast, and features a day of exciting polo matches including The 6th Annual Courage Cup match - featuring the talented kids of the Work to Ride program playing along with professional polo players.
The Courage Cup is an IRS designated 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation which was established to help at-risk urban youth. We support programs in the mid-Atlantic region which give disadvantaged children individualized attention and a positive alternative activity to keep them in school and off the streets. In addition to supporting these programs financially, we also recruit volunteers for their activities.
Attending Meadow Matches
There are a number of options for attending The Courage Cup's Meadow Matches. You can purchase a tailgate spot or tent and host a party for your friends, clients or employees. Or you can host a reserved table in our VIP tent or purchase individual tickets, where we take care of all the details for you. We also have bus transportation from Georgetown which includes a free General Admission ticket. If you choose General Admission, remember to pack a picnic as you will need to bring your own food and beverages. Remember to bring plenty of water as it may be a really warm day!
