The Thinking Horse Clinic
Presented by Jan Snodgrass TTEAM and TTouch Practitioner 1
Improve your ability to work with horses by learning to understand both their behavior and the ways they learn best
August 16 and 17 2008
9 AM to 1 PM
LightHeart Farm, Marshall, VA
What does it mean when a horse has a triangular look to his eye, tightens his chin or clamps his tail? Is a freeze response dangerous? Is a displacement behavior painful? How can you use associative learning, habituation, operant conditioning, conditioned response, or whole brain learning to influence your horse’s behavior?
Want answers? Come to a unique clinic where you will learn what your horse’s behavior is telling you and how to use the different ways horses learn to change behavior or teach your horse something new. The clinic will also include:
*Use of the “Training Wheel”
*Results of brain wave studies in horses *Live mule demonstrations
Pre-registration required
$40 each day, $80 both days
