Horse & Hound and Merry Oaks Stables are sponsoring a free horse vaccine seminar Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at the Carrollton Ruritan Club. Veterinarians from The Oaks Equine & Farm Services will begin the session at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:00 pm with hot dogs and light refreshments for sale to benefit a local 4-H group. Anyone donating articles or money to the USERL to benefit 23 Isle of Wight horses on the evening of Feb. 20 will receive a 20% off coupon to Horse & Hound. Space is limited.
