Lucia Farm, a premier equestrian facility located in Lovettsville, VA, announced today that it will host a brand new all day summer horsemanship camp for children aged 7 – 14 years from 9am – 5pm on August 31 – September 4, 2009. The children will learn to ride and play with horses using horse psychology and natural horsemanship.
Established in 1997, Lucia Farm has developed a well-established traditional riding and lesson program for children and adults, beginners through advanced, on their quality schooled horses and ponies.
“This new all day camp is a fun and informative way for students of all experience levels to learn horsemanship skills” said Dru Roia, owner of Lucia Farm. “At Lucia Farm we have recently become enthusiastic about Natural Horsemanship using the Parelli Method, which has allowed us to add new inspiration and passion to the horses and humans that spend time with us”.
The cost for the camp is $ 395.00 per person. Space is limited and the camp is expected to fill up fast.
