Amy has extensive experience showing and training all levels of horses from baby greens to Level 6 jumpers with numerous Champions and Reserve Champions on the “A” circuit. Before opening her own business in Manakin Sabot this summer she spent her winters at WEF in Wellington and summers traveling the “A” Horse Show circuit riding for top hunter/jumper barns and training and riding her own clients. Among her many accomplishments is her win at Washington International in the Marshall and Sterling Adult Hunter Finals and her 2nd place finish in the Ariat Adult Medal finals.
Whether your goal is to show at indoors or just jump around a course of 8 fences with no mistakes, Amy can teach you and your horse the skills and confidence necessary to achieve your goals.
3 sections are available at 1-1/2 to 2 hours long with 3 to 4 riders in each section.
The clinic will focus on the correct position of the rider and control on the flat and over fences. With emphasize on balance, rhythm and suppleness.
Level 1: Green horse/rider
Is for horses or riders comfortable at a walk and trot that are negotiating poles and x-rails.
Level 2: Intermediate horse/rider
is for horse or riders jumping small coarses at a trot and canter 2’-2-3”
Level 3: Advanced horse and rider
is for advanced riders jumping courses 2-6” and up.
Space is limited please sign up early. Cut off date is October 26th. Clinic fee is $55 per session. Stalls are available for rental at $10.00 per day. $20.00 for overnight.
Current Coggins is required with application and release form.
Please call in advance to reserve a stall.
Limited trailering services are available.
