Amanda Gover is a registered and fully qualified instructor with the renowned British Horse Society. She is based in the UK where she runs a first class livery yard set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

Amanda has over 30 years experience of training and competing with much success, leading her to compete at many National competitions. She now enjoys specializing in dressage and has two horses of her own -- Fabienne G an 8 year old Hanoverian mare and Paje a 6 year old Andulusian stallion -- both of which she is training up the levels.

Over the last 12 years Amanda has had the privilege of working very closely with internationally famous trainers Arthur Kottas, ex first chief rider of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Stephen Clark, FEI 'O' international judge and Charles de Kunffy, international judge, clinician and author. These masters have greatly influenced her teachings. As a result her training is truly along the classical lines, showing an excellent understanding of the biomechanics of the horse.

Amanda has a real talent for teaching riders of all abilities to bring out the very best in their horse. She does this by improving all aspects of their riding and their knowledge of how to train their horse. One of the most frequently heard responses from her clients is “Why hasn’t anyone ever told me that before?” They find that she has a great ability to be able to explain the “how to do” things.

Amanda enjoys teaching anyone who has the same passion for seeking a harmonious partnership with their horse whether they wish to compete or just enjoy riding a happy, well-trained horse.

With family now living in Virginia, Amanda has decided to set up a regular clinic whenever she visits and very much looks forward to hearing from anyone who would be interested in working with her and benefiting from her vast experience. SHE WILL BE IN LOUDOUN COUNTY FROM FEB. 10-17th, 2010. PLEASE CONTACT TO SCHEDULE A LESSON OR CLINIC DURING THIS TIME.
